David H. Perlmutter, MD, Vira I. Heinz Endowed Chairman, Distinguished Professor of Pediatrics and Professor of Cell Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, will give a presentation on "The Role of Autophagy in Diseases Caused by Misfolded Proteins: Alpha-1-Antitrypsin Deficiency as Prototype" on May 15, 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the Prem Sahai Auditorium (1110 MERF). This event is co-sponsored by the Department of Pediatrics.
